The Packaging Laborer performs repetitive work station operations in the Packaging Department. This position is responsible for all activities in the packaging room as directed by the Operator Lead and or Associate.

Responsibilities: 

• Package the quantity of cases and or bags as required by the schedule


• Assist in maintaining all documents such as pre-op checklist, pack sheets, metal detectors, lot numbers, etc.


• Package products in a clean environment, at the specific weighs, and with the correct and legible lot numbers as per Core Procedure


• Refer to set-up sheets for production requirements.


• Make sure that all packaging materials used film, boxes, valve pack bags, pallets, etc. are in acceptable condition and quality. Report any problems to Operator Lead and or Associate


• Maintain GMP`s

Job Requirements

• Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds including above head and below the waist for 50% or more of shift.


• Ability to stand for long periods.


• Must be able to work at line speed with the ability to make coordinated hand and finger movements.
