OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center is Oklahoma’s only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-Designated Cancer Center, and one of only 72 NCI-Designated Cancer Centers in the United States. The Stephenson Cancer Center is now hiring for a full-time Staff Research Assistant. This is an OUHSC position, but will be located in Tulsa.
The successful candidate will work as a Health Promotion Research Center (HPRC) team member within the Oliver Lab, on multiple ongoing neuroimaging research studies focused around understanding tobacco use and other addictive behaviors as well as developing new treatments. Primary duties include managing participant recruitment, screening participants, data collection, record keeping, data entry and basic analysis, and report preparation. Opportunities for involvement with other components of the scientific process (e.g. grant and manuscript preparation) will be available based on skills and interest. Prior experience with neuroimaging research is not necessary or expected.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in a Biological Science, Chemistry, or Physical Science or related field AND:
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months equivalent experience in lieu of the Bachelor's Degree for a total of 60 months research experience or an Associate's Degree and 24 months research experience for a total of 36 months experience.
