Job Description:

We are currently searching for the right person to join our team as a Banking Systems Analyst.

This in-office role is located in Mount Pleasant, TX, with no moving expenses.


Key Job Responsibilities:



  • Analyzes operational and business processes across main bank systems to identify opportunities to increase efficiency and efficacy.

  • Oversee the data workflow, process workflow and systems integrations architecture to support back office operations.

  • Work with operational teams to gather business and technical requirements to define the required scope of the designed solutions.

  • Develop, test, implement, and manage automation scripts, using the dedicated automation software, and creating user documentation.

  • Participate in the change management process and implementing tools to facilitate quick adoption of new systems and processes.

  • Evaluate operational performance through analysis of data, policies, and procedures while developing process improvement plans, and designing operational performance indicators.

  • May participate in providing technical support, usability analysis, coordinating incident resolution efforts, and driving root-cause analysis and post-implementation reviews for continuous improvement.

  • Responsible for planning, execution, management, and monitoring of projects assigned, communicating progress, problems, and results, and generating required management reports under the guidance of the management team.

  • Guide Project and Business Analysis team to ensure timely and complete execution of projects.

  • Comply with privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protection

  • Comply with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures

  • Complete and pass all required regulatory compliance training as assigned

  • Perform any additional duties and tasks assigned by management


Qualifications & Skills:



  • Analytical proficiency: Proficient capacity to critically evaluate data, discern patterns, and draw insightful conclusions utilizing problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions to complex issues.

  • Adaptive self-starter: Highly adaptive with a proactive approach requiring limited direction while swiftly grasping complex concepts and acquiring new skills.

  • Strong proficiency with technology: Familiarity with industry technology and applications to fully understand and document process and system requirements, requests, and process.

  • Strong organizational skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain a structured approached focuses on achieving short term and long-term goals while being able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment.

  • Excellent communication skills: Proficient in both written and verbal communication, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the aptitude to drive agreement among parties with the ability to quickly adjust message based on various audiences.

  • Ability to travel between business locations.


Education, Experience:



  • Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in business, computer sciences, systems management related quantitative discipline or related field is preferred.

  • 5 years of technology and operation process assessments, including matching business requirements to supporting systems requirements.

  • Previous systems analyst experience- preferred
