Job Description:

Purpose/Scope:
Plan, administer, and supervise an ongoing health and safety program to ensure compliance in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintains hazardous waste records and reporting. Maintains Material Safety Data Sheets on hazardous materials used in the workplace. Maintains testing, records, and reporting for water usage and wastewater discharge. Develop and maintain company health, safety, and environmental policies. Develop and maintain company health, safety, and environmental education and training programs. Completes routine health, safety, and environmental audits and inspections. Manage work-related injuries and illnesses and maintain required records and reporting. Conduct and maintain company investigations concerning health, safety, and environmental issues. Ensures the company meets federal, state, and local regulations regarding OSHA, EPA, City, State, and Workers Comp, and industry insurance requirements. Reports all required information on the companys behalf to meet all local, state, and federal regulations and laws. Acquires and maintains any health, safety, and/or environmental-related permits required for business. Meet and develop continuous improvement plans on company goals related to health, safety, and the environment. Manages facility security. Manages facility medical department. Ensures area is neat, clean, and safe for operation. Ensures that all employees use required PPE and follow all safety guidelines of the Company. Performs other duties as assigned.
