Technical Project Manager at Infosys Limited in New York, New York

Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a Technical Project Manager.
This position's primary responsibility will be to work with key stakeholders and coordinate for day to day deliverables for the team. The role holder will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. He / She must be actively involved in technical matters thus finding out the gaps and ensuring product owner involvement in business decision and description of the functional flow. He / She should be able to create status reports and provide status updates to the stake holders on a weekly basis.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of New York City, NY or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.


• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.


• Experience as a Project Manager


• Experience working in Application support, maintenance and analysis in Core Java, J2EE.

• At least 7 to 10 years of experience in Project Management and implementation.


• At least 7 to 10 years of experience in Java & Database ( Sybase ASE or SQL Server)


• At least 7 to 10 years of experience in software development life cycle.


• At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.


• At least 4 years of experience in project scoping, estimation and scheduling.


• Experience in any RDBMS (Oracle/Sybase/DB2/SQL Server/Postgresql)


• Strong Experience in Application support / Production support/ L3 support, maintenance and analysis skills mandatory.


• Knowledge of architectural frameworks and design principals.


• Basic domain knowledge in Capital Markets and Finance.


• Experience in Analytical skills.


• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
