About the Role

Essity Manufacturing Professional Hygiene North America is looking for an experienced Energy Engineer. This position will be located in our manufacturing facility in Menasha, WI.

We're looking for people who embody our values, aren't afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace. We're always looking for ways to improve our products and ourselves. If this is you, we'd love to talk. 

What You Will Do

• Work with Resource Support Teams to identify and develop projects directed at reducing site wide production material and energy cost and achieving Essity SBT (science-based targets) objectives;


• Own results, set priorities, drive throughout whole organization, affect way of working, ensure tracking, and training;


• Utilize global benchmarking tools to define up-to-date gaps translated to financial impact based on local pricing;


• Build capability in the organization through training, sharing, and network participation with the energy saving team;


• Develop and maintain action plan, and review regularly, tracking results, checking successes, and repeating the cycle;

Who You Are

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Paper Science, Environmental Science or related field;


• Minimum two years' experience in a manufacturing environment;


• Strong project management skills;


• Prefer a strong working knowledge of the theoretical and technical aspects of the de-inking, papermaking and wastewater treatment processes.


• Excellent communication skills.
