Recycling Technician

THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Understand our business, competitive marketplace, products, and services.


• Understanding of Essity’s Beliefs & Behaviors


• Materials will be sorted by the individual and transported to the appropriate processor based on the waste strategy for those items.


• Replace stretch film and/or repair breaks in the film at the palletizing units.


• Ensure good housekeeping and organization in shipping and SEO/Reclaim areas.


• Compliance with all safe work practices


• Demonstrate the ability to operate a lift truck and other mobile equipment safely.


• All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

• High School or GED required.

EXPERIENCE:

• Manufacturing experience preferred.


• Logistics process knowledge


• Knowledge of logistics processes

• Follow processes and uphold guidelines.


• Assist with routine issues with Support Equipment. i.e vertical balers and carts,


• Operate and understand the functions of the Balers.


• Able to work in various departments in the Logistic area when needed.


• Cover Vacations and call-ins.


• Ability to work under minimal supervision. As well as identify things that need to be corrected and fix without the supervisor's direction.


• Ability to communicate issues in daily shift exchange meetings.


• Attention to Detail.


• Operate mobile Equipment I.E. Lift Truck, Recycle Carts.


• Ability to innovate Self/Recycle area.
