Based in San Francisco and reporting to the Sr. Director - Global R&D, this key individual will be responsible for sourcing/development of special-pack solutions, product data creation/management and identifying/implementing process improvements in support of the growth objectives across our four core brands - method + Mrs Meyers + babyganics + ecover. This is a hands-on role where leadership, creativity and a high energy level make all the difference.

Please note: This is a San Francisco Office-based role


  • Act as the technical lead for all special-pack related projects

  • Drive projects forward working closely with cross-functional development teams, component suppliers and contract manufacturers.

  • Conduct in-depth technical feasibility assessments on packaging design, including environmental impact, supply chain, manufacturing, cost drivers, and customer/consumer impact.

  • Create packaging related specifications, finished product manuals and ensure data accuracy in SAP.

  • Execute BOM/Data updates and changes in SAP

  • Identify, champion and implement process improvements.

  • Travel and work independently at plant and vendor locations

REQUIRED:


  • Bachelors Degree

  • 3+ years of Product Lifecyle Management OR Packaging Development OR Consumer Products Industry Experience in New Product Development

PREFERRED:


  • Working in Product Lifecycle Management module of SAP

  • Passion for success, technical curiosity, and strong interest in innovation and environmental sustainability

  • Project management skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task - we move fast

  • A positive and clear communicator- articulate ideas, voice constructive opinions

  • A great collaborator who works well as a member of a cross-functional team
