What will you do?

This position is responsible for providing high quality engineering per specifications, standards, budgets and schedules, as well as participating on a team to design, install and service building automation and security management systems. This employee typically works under daily supervision of a Project Manager and reports into an Engineering or Software Manager.

Responsibilities Include

• Understand how to read and review specifications, drawings, and sequence


• Be able to read, write, modify simple programming and assist others in start up of control's equipment at a basic level with mentor support


• Adhere to standards for software enginering including familiarity with National Engineering Standard


• Assist the PM in reviewing contract documentation, sequences of operations, and commissioning documents throughout the project life cycle


• Manage communications with customers, subcontractors, engineers, and project managers efficiently so that they are addressed in a timely manner while balancing work assignments


• Basic understanding of operator workstation use, graphics and software development


• Participate in basic field startup using standard start up and checkout processes


• Assist in job close out by providing final record drawings and documentation


• Proficiency in the usage of Studio 360, Prometheus, Project configuration Tool apps and any other applicable engineering tools


• Remote Support: Complete understanding of remote connectivity methods (Bomgar, etc.) including VPN software when applicable, including accessing and updating password vaults

• Four year engineering/technical degree or equivalent work experience


• Valid Driver's License


• Local to Philadelphia Metro area
