Your Key Responsibilities

• Identify OEE gaps and support manufacturing units to improve key machines
• Perform time studies and cycle time analysis
• Evaluate machine and plant layouts and optimize headcount requirements
• Evaluate and forecast needed headcount based on production order forecast and machine load
• Perform capacity analysis to identify potential delivery issues or investment needed for new businesses and so work with the plants to define better strategy.
• Create product costing, working with different areas as purchasing and technology development.
• Support PPA (Product Profitability Analysis) creation to evaluate economical profitability of the business case.
• Define the best production location and support product industrialization
• Lead and support VA/VE workshops for new and existing products
• Evaluate regional product footprint and propose ideas to improve cost and thus profit margins by synergizing local and global business
• Evaluate CAPEX/ investment forecast. Ensure CAPEX is aligned with the local and global business development

Your Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering
• Excellent engineering & physics knowledge
• Knowledge of the automotive manufacturing industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Superior mechanical ability
• Good knowledge of production processes, measurement and inspection procedures
• Excellent communication ability (written & verbal)
• Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results
• Continuous improvement approach
• Assertive approach to solving problems
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions
