The Job Details are as follows:

The Senior Brand Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to enhance OCLC’s position in the market, increase brand awareness and impact the ways the OCLC brand is perceived. The manager will showcase creative thinking, strategic planning, and strong leadership skills in overseeing all aspects of brand strategy for company and product brands. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners will be crucial to ensure consistent brand presentation and alignment throughout all marketing initiatives.

This position requires a passion for understanding customer needs and aligning brand strategies to those needs. They will have experience in leading qualitative and quantitative brand research activities, in addition to understanding how to measure the effectiveness of brands over time. This person will have proven ability to partner with creative and content teams in building and refining a consistent brand experience.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute brand strategies to drive brand equity, market share, and customer loyalty.

  • Conduct/coordinate thorough market research and analysis to inform brand positioning, understand market segmentation and measure brand effectiveness.

  • Partner with creative and content teams to establish and refine a consistent brand positioning, presentation and messaging.

  • Collaborate with product marketing and product management to align brand positioning and messaging with product offerings.

  • Partner with others in the marketing team to implement campaigns to impact brand awareness and brand perception.

  • Provide operational recommendations to relevant parts of the organization to ensure a positive and consistent brand experience.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including agency partners, vendors, and internal teams.

  • Establish and track key brand performance indicators. Regularly evaluate brand performance, assess consumer feedback, and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize brand perception and market positioning.

  • Provide regular reports to key stakeholders on research results, campaign evaluations, milestones, lessons learned and best practices.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative marketing techniques to leverage new opportunities for brand development.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • 10+ years in marketing. Proven experience in brand management, including developing and executing successful brand strategies and campaigns.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to design methodology, gather and interpret market research data effectively.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members towards achieving brand objectives.

  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

  • Creativity and a keen eye for design to ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity.

  • Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in brand management and marketing.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and an unwavering commitment to quality and excellence.
