Located in the Heart of Austin the Hilton Austin is hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic!

This person will be responsible of maintainingthe physical functionality of facility including guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas in accordance withestablished standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability.

COMPENSATION: $21.24 per hour plus full-time benefits

SCHEDULE: Open availability with Weekend availability required.

What will I be doing?

As Maintenance Mechanic you are responsible for maintainingthe physical functionality of facility including guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas in accordance withestablished standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Equipment preventative maintenance tasks
• Participation in bigger repair projects
• Performing a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, HVAC and masonry.
• Inspecting guestrooms, public space and heart-of-the-house for needed and preventive maintenance.
• Recording and reporting completed repairs and items that need further attention or that require placing a room 'out of order.
