About the Role

Essity North America is looking for an experienced Supply Planning Manager who will be responsible for securing and communicating the supply situation of products for short/mid and long term time frames. You will set, lead, and constantly improve major planning processes like Long-Term-Plan and will proactively identify possible bottlenecks and propose appropriate actions.

The ideal candidate should/could live in Philadelphia, PA or Drummondville, Canada or Bowling Green, KY or Appleton, WI.

What You Will Do:


  • Secure and communicate the supply situation of finished products (and mother reels) for short/mid and long term horizon.

  • Set, lead, and constantly improve major planning processes like Long-Term-Plan / S&OP, Budget, Strategic Planning.

  • Proactively identify possible bottlenecks and propose appropriate actions.

  • Balance demand-/capacity situation FG and MR and safeguard product availability at the lowest cost, including working capital.

  • Change and optimize allocation and sourcing structure in order to support the lowest level total supply chain costs.

  • Ensure cost-efficient product flow and allocation.

  • Lead the long-term planning process and follow-up and analyze service level & ensure actions are taken to reach the target.

  • Support further development of systems, tools, and processes within the production planning area.

  • Act as an interface between sites, markets, and category.

  • Be accountable for the performance management process and responsible for consequence management within your department.

Who You Are:


  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in supply chain planning.

  • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • You have a deep understanding of supply chain management concepts and principles.

  • You have experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

  • You are a team player and can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
