Position Title:

 

A Day in the Life

 

This position will be an integral member of the Mozarc Medical Finance Team, assisting in the standup and ongoing operations of the new, independent joint venture with equal partners, Medtronic and DaVita.  This position will report directly to the Mozarc Medical accounting Manager and provide leadership in accounting, controlling and process development in the areas of accounts receivable, credit and collection management. We are looking for a detail-oriented AR and Credit Lead with a strategic mindset to join our finance team. This position will be focused on the Americas region to start from and potentially be developed into a global role.

Responsibilities

 

  • Analyze financial data and credit reports to evaluate the creditworthiness of potential and existing customers, and create a credit scoring model to assess risks

  • Establish credit limits and payment terms for customers based on their creditworthiness and payment history

  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure payments are made on time and in accordance with established terms

  • Communicate with customers to address any credit-related issues and resolve disputes

  • Work closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure efficient and effective credit and collection management

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in credit and collection management

  • Manage AR bad debt reserve and write-off

  • Prepare reports and present findings to senior management

  • Supervise and train AR and credit staff as needed

  • Optimization of AR, credit and collection management processes

 

Must Have:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

 

Nice to Have

 


  • Prior experience in managing Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collection. Ability to develop and implement credit policies and procedures as well as credit analysis and risk assessment.

  • Knowledge of credit laws and regulations
    CPA, CMA, MBA or other certificates in Accounting or Finance

  • International experience managing multiple entities

  • Experience with start-ups, divestitures, or joint ventures
    Demonstrated ability to manage to tight deadlines, along with flexibility to changing priorities
    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
    Experience with business partnering

  • Eagerness to learn and expand responsibilities

  • Self-starter with the insight and vision to propose changes even in the face of strong opposition

  • High level of strategic and innovative thinking

  • Working knowledge of SAP and highly proficient in Excel

  • Leadership and team management skills
