Our Inclusive Solution team has an opportunity for a VP, Partner Engagement & Integration. This newly created role, will report to the head of Business & Societal Impact and be responsible for working with business leaders on integrated societal and business impact programs, and initiatives. The VP will also oversee partnership selection, relationship management, activation of partnerships, and track results.

Responsibilities will include these three key areas:

Business and Societal Integration

Balancing long-term strategies and thinking of partner with the ability to manage short term to deliverables ongoing results that demonstrate progress toward fulfillment of a long-term vision. Equally important is the skill to advocate for, and educate around non-traditional partner models, as well as demonstrate understanding of the business’ pressures, resources, priorities, and operations.

Partner Management & Relationship Building

The types of Managing a variety of nonprofit (in some cases for-profit) partners engaged which include behavioral academic researchers who design and test solutions to increase financial well-being; entities that unite business leaders, policy makers, and innovators to design and implement permanent solutions that improve financial health for all people; think tanks who drive societal change through dialogue, leadership, and action; and centers who act to bring more opportunity, investment, and social capital to communities that, in turn, nurture future generations of leaders. As such, management and partnership building is atypical in traditional business settings and requires a relationship versus transactional approach.

Execution and Executive Communication

A nuanced activation of partnerships in alignment with agreed upon strategy is required. Additionally, ongoing communications of progress and learnings to business leaders and senior management is critical to engagement, continued strategic alignment and impact. Executive presentations (oral and written) and oversight of a codified briefing and logistics execution toolkit is required.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:


  • Identifying, leveraging, and managing external partnerships to match business needs.


  • Understanding of business systems and operations (customer life cycle, P&L drivers, product, and solution sets, etc.).


  • Providing domain expertise and support to business as well as the function senior leaders/team to create, implement and execute innovative strategies and solutions.


  • Co-creating programs and initiatives to drive measured growth according to business strategy, priorities, and goals.


  • Collaborating across teams and senior levels to influence change.


  • Establishing and practicing clear ongoing communication between Inclusive Solutions & Business areas to understand decision making and ensure strategy is aligned for all new program/initiative recommendations to be run through executive leadership.


  • Leading efforts to leverage Business Resource Groups and Community Engagement,


  • Driving business results and holding leaders accountable to goals and progress by managing. measurement and learning related to partnerships.


  • Managing a direct and indirect team.


  • Creating an environment of mutual trust, with respect for others and championing differing ideas and perspectives.
     


What you’ll need:


  • 10+ years of well diversified experience in a corporate and/or non profit environment


  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred


  • Strong (clear, efficient, and effective) communication skills, both oral and written and organizational skills


  • Experience with managing multiple stakeholders and influencing at all levels, acting as an agent of change


  • Relationship management skills including strong facilitation of candid, productive conversations on a variety of complex topics.


  • Possessing strong partnership and relationship building skills and experience interacting with, advising, and influencing senior leaders internally and externally
     


It’d be a plus if you had:


  • Experience in and ability to work in both corporate and community settings


  • Experience with managing a developing a team/staff


  • Experience working in a matrixed environment

The salary range for this role is from $180,600.00 to $244,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
