Responsibilities

What you'll be challenged to do:

Endpoint Deployment Engineer primary responsibility include application package and image creation, testing and  deployment  to endpoints. This position will be responsible for the management of on-prem and cloud-based patching and deployment systems, using native tools as well as PowerShell methods. This role will also provide tier 3  daily support and administration of an SCCM infrastructure. This role will be responsible for providing deployment, configuration and support of desktop technologies in a distributed environment.

General Duties & Responsibilities  (other duties may be assigned):


  • Manage software distribution including Microsoft Security upgrades and standard desktop software on global basis. Prioritize and coordinate security patch and software testing schedules and distributions.

  • Create packages, collections, and advertisements for distributions.

  • Manage design software licenses to ensure proper use and compliance.

  • Create custom reports and dashboards for use in planning corporate hardware and software requirements.

  • Work with IT Infrastructure team to identify and remediate areas of workstation risks.

  • Provide 3rd level support for the SCCM infrastructure and standard desktop software.

  • Meet with internal clients to assess needs, identify key challenges, and define project scope and deliverables for software application deliveries.

  • Investigate and solve issues with Configuration Manager Client on endpoints.

  • Troubleshoot and correct SCCM client and distribution point errors.

  • Troubleshoot failed SCCM deployments and SCCM health issues.

  • Administer the SCCM tool set, back end to keep the system running and healthy, including changes to the core components and settings, software delivery, client heath, reporting, boundaries, and bandwidth settings.

  • Manage and administer SCCM client health in a Windows 10 and 11 environment co-managed with Intune

  • Creating, updating and maintaining the Windows 10 and 11 image

  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to accept additional responsibility when completing projects and tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications

What you bring to our firm:


  • 1-3 years using  in SCCM, MS Intune, WSUS

  • 1-3 years using OS imaging tools like Dell Image assist

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills

  • Ability to prioritize work related tasks

  • Basic ITIL understanding

  • 1-3 Operating System concepts on Windows 10 and 11

What we’d prefer for you to bring to our firm:


  • Experience with Service Now

  • 1-3 Extensive knowledge and/or prior experience with standard software package and patch deployment methodologies, adhering to standard change control processes within large size

Work Environment:

 

This position will be required to be in the Kansas City office according to the current company policy of 3 days a week.  The hands-on nature of this position may require more frequent days in the office as requested by management.
