The primary responsibility of a CNC Machinist is to support production operations by performing low to moderate machining operations, operating one or more types of machine tools such as mills, drill presses, lathes, etc.

Setsup basic tooling, write and execute basic programs.

Sets up, operates and programs a broad range ofproduction work involving close tolerance and set ups that are exacting that are somewhat involved and have a low to moderate degree of difficulty.

Reads and interpretsspecific machining instructions from blueprints, partand machinedrawings.

Key Job Duties:

Performs other secondary operations such as stamping part numbers and deburring during machine cycle times.

Performsroutine maintenance.

Assists in other areas and performs additional tasks as needed.

Participates in and contributes toMassmanslean manufacturing journey.

Inspectsmachine parts to ensure they meet proper size, shape, or tolerance specs using micrometers and other measuring tools and devices.
