The Senior Global Product Manager is a key member of the Respiratory Interventions Marketing team and will provide global marketing product management for established technologies within the airway access portfolio, specifically focused on the McGRATH TM portfolio of products.

In this role, the global product manager supports the life-cycle management & commercialization necessary to drive global sales & sustained profitability for this critical portfolio. They are responsible for market/product expertise, forecasting, cross-functional & regional representation, as well as supporting technology innovation & market development within the Airway Management portfolio.

This position is based in Boulder, CO and is in the office approximately 3 days per week. Relocation assistance may be available for well qualified candidates.

A Day in the Life


  • Execute strategies that support internal and external global customers and cross-functional stakeholders for the Airway Access business.
  • Act as a conduit for information flowing in and out of regional teams about product enhancements, market needs, market dynamics, and appropriate use of products.
  • Establish clear and consistent communication processes and expertise for product development, project governance, and global partners.
  • Develop and track Global sales forecast, demand plans, and registration plans/status.
  • Coordinate with demand planning, supply chain, and manufacturing to ensure global inventory levels meet market demands and financial targets.
  • Support and execute life cycle management and portfolio planning with appropriate global teams and cross-functional personnel.
  • Support R&D sustaining activities, ensuring competitive products meet global market needs.
  • Assess competition and market changes to understand market share and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Act as a conduit to the global commercial team for the voice of customer initiatives and product feedback to R&D, Strategy, and commercialization teams.
  • Develop and research product pricing analysis and strategies to drive improved ASP and margin targets.
  • Identify and report potential project risks and develop and socialize plans to mitigate these risks.
  • Any additional responsibilities that would be appropriate to expand on the growth of the airway business.
  • Global travel approximately 25-30% of the time.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience

Nice to Have

  • Multiple years of relevant product management experience in medical technology or the healthcare sector; other industry experience will be considered with exceptional performance.
  • Direct international &/or regional experience outside of North America; multi-lingual proficiency preferred.
  • Knowledge of cross-functional roles & responsibilities, e.g. Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Operations, etc., and exceptional ability to work across a matrix organization
  • Ability to collaborate and lead without direct authority in a cross-functional, multi-cultural environment.
  • Experience analyzing complex healthcare markets, creating strategic plans, and supporting execution/delivery.
  • Ability to inform and influence senior leadership as a Subject Matter Expert
  • Proven experience interacting with primary (physicians, nurses, administrators) and secondary (regional & local Medtronic colleagues) customers.
  • Ability to engage in clinical/patient care areas and with KOLs
  • Strong written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills, primarily through formal presentations
  • Demonstration of continuous professional development

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations).The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience,certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
