The Opportunity


  • Analyze data and identify the relationship between different aspects of the data to identify, experiment and test new ways to deliver value from combinations of operational data, customer data and third-party data sources.
  • Create and maintain data integrity and data integration in data warehouses from disparate data source systems.
  • Complete data profiling and data quality analysis using query-based language.
  • Implement processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across one or more data stores from a wide variety of sources.
  • Partner with business users to translate functional specifications into technical specifications for sustainable implementation.
  • Build and integrate data cleansing processes with quality metrics.
  • Develop and document the data audit, analysis, archiving, and restoration processes.
  • Develop quality standards to ensure data quality and integrity across various reports and reporting systems.
  • Ensure high quality and optimum performance of data workflows in order to meet business solutions.
  • Provide data management and data support on an ad hoc basis for organizational/department initiatives as needed.
  • Proactively resolves data quality issues.

Required Experience and Competencies


  • Minimum four years of experience with Talend Big Data and DI required.
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, or mathematics or similar quantitative field required.
  • Extensive experience on Talend ETL, leveraging different components of Talend like DI and Big Data required.
  • Some experience with BI solutions (QlikView, Tableau, SAP BusinessObjects or similar) required.
  • Some experience and/or working knowledge of big data platforms including Hadoop, Hive, Spark required.
  • Strong SQL programming skills required.
  • Experience in healthcare and healthcare data preferred.
  • HL7 (2.x) or FHIR API experience preferred.
  • Experience in Snowflake preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SSRS.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations as it relates data management, HIPAA, and PCI.
  • Advanced knowledge in SQL and at least one other programming language is a plus (C#, Java, Python).
  • Working knowledge of Software deployment and containerization using Docker, Vagrant.
  • Expert knowledge in Software development cycle and use of Version control (Git).
  • Advanced knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Governance with focus on security.
  • Ability to deliver real time data pipelines for real time dashboards.
  • Knowledge of reverse engineering legacy code.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects, including development of strategies, actions steps, and timelines.
  • Ability to handle detailed work accurately and quickly, work to meet deadlines on multiple projects, and collaborate with team members.
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced Excel skills, to include macros, pivot tables, advanced Excel formulas.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology.

Salary range for this role is $102,290 - $130,420 annually. Please speak with a recruiter for more information.
