Ardurra is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to join our team in Boise, ID!


Primary Function: 


Ardurra is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to join our staff in Boise, ID. This qualified scientist, planner, or engineer will understand the federal, state, and local processes required to permit aviation, transportation, municipal, land development, and industrial projects in the Northwest U.S.; with emphases on understanding the Idaho, Utah, and Washington markets. This motivated professional will help procure and coordinate project pursuits; provide experienced oversight of environmental compliance/permitting projects; and manage subordinates in the execution of work, as well as mentor these journeyman staff in career advancement. In partnership with the Service Manager, this entrepreneur will be a strong partner in the growth of the NW division, both in capability and service, helping Ardurra advance further as a preeminent selection for NEPA/SEPA compliances throughout the several states served.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Conduct wetland delineations and assessments.

  • Map and assess vegetation communities and habitat quality.

  • Conduct listed species surveys.

  • Monitor and write reports for wetland mitigation projects.

  • Perform environmental assessments, permitting, and compliance for a wide variety of projects and clients.

  • Participate in multi-disciplinary environmental planning and assessments.

  • Have experience with the preparation of various NEPA/SEPA impact reports

  • Business development and proposal proposals


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in an environmental discipline

  • Must have a professional and academic background in ecology, environmental science, wetlands, botany, or soil science

  • Demonstrated experience with plant, soil, and wetland identification and characterization

  • At least ten (10) years of field experience delineating wetlands, environmental permitting, and NEPA/SEPA reporting with a focus on infrastructure, permitting, and climate work

  • Strong fieldwork skills and experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet preparation

  • Experience with a handheld GPS
