Job Description:

As a Regional Director for Traffic Solutions, you will manage relationships with all contractors across the West Coast and Canada. You will protect our position as a trusted partner and increase business growth with these main customers.

As part of the Traffic Solutions Sales team, you will be remote and will report to the Sales Director, Traffic Solutions USCA. PPG offers excellent and affordable benefits; substantial PTO, vacation, and sick time; and outstanding matching 401k plus additional retirement savings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of each customer's business, objectives, and challenge to identify opportunities for collaboration and value creation.

• Conduct regular meetings, check-ins, and site visits with important partners to ensure customer satisfaction, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement.

• Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their evolving needs and communicate these requirements internally to relevant teams.

• Accomplishes regional sales objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees in assigned states; communicate job expectations; monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforce procedures

• Maintain and expand customer base by building and maintaining rapport with customers, identifying new customer opportunities.

• Identify opportunities to grow accounts, such as cross-selling complementary products or services, and upselling higher value offerings.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

• Keep abreast of changes in regulations, policies, and market conditions that may affect our business or customers.

• Utilize market insights to provide recommendations for product enhancement, pricing strategies, and new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related commercial field and 8 years sales management experience

• Experience with key account management, within the traffic coatings industry, or trades industries.

• Experience managing accounts and driving business growth and profitability.
