Custom Production Laboratory Technician I at Microbiologics Inc in Saint Cloud, Minnesota

Job Description:

We are currently looking to add a Custom Production Laboratory Technician I to our team in St. Cloud, MN. In this role, you will be responsible for the production, testing, and packaging of lyophilized microorganism lots for Custom Solutions projects and the production of lyophilized microorganism lots for Proficiency Testing. retail products.

What can I expect in this role?
In this position, you will work 7 am 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday, and 7 am 1 pm on Friday.

Some key duties in this role include:
Grow, subculture, and harvest various types of microorganism lots Transfer or verify protocol information from tracking documents Set up material for harvest and dislodge procedures Load/unload, run, and perform daily maintenance of lyophilizer machines Dislodge pellets after lyophilization and submit samples to QC Maintain and clean labware/supplies Perform product testing to qualify enumerated material Complete release of product following QC testing Package finished Custom Solutions Products and document appropriately Maintain bulk inventory and lot status using NetSuite and Custom Production filing system Update tracking documents with strain specific information Review and create Custom Production document

Here is what we are looking for:
High school education or equivalent required.
Two-year biology/related degree or two years previous related experience and/or training preferred.
Practical microbiology laboratory experience preferred.
The ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
