Job Description:

Padagis is seeking an individual with a strong background in business analysis and reporting to join a team that supports the full application lifecycle (Support, Enhancements, and Projects).

Note: This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement (on-site and remote mix) for candidates based in the Minneapolis, MN or Grand Rapids, MI or willing to relocate to one of these commuting areas.

The Business and Reporting Analyst will be expected to have a focus area in sales, distribution, and customer service processes, and to become familiar with the relevant SAP modules and reports. They will need to understand how to analyze and optimize sales orders, deliveries, invoices, payments, pricing, contracts, and customer master data. They will also need to be able to design, create, and maintain reports and dashboards that provide insights into sales performance, customer satisfaction, and market trends.

Job duties:


  • Collect, validate, and analyze data from various sources, such as SAP, SQL, Excel, and BI tools
  • Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards that present key business metrics and trends
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support business decision making and problem solving
  • Communicate and present findings and solutions to various audiences, such as managers, clients, and vendors, in a clear and concise manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and best practices
  • Stay updated on the latest reporting technologies and concepts, and leverage them to enhance reporting capabilities and quality

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a relevant business discipline
  • Three or more (3+) years of experience as a Business and Reporting Analyst.
  • Strong analytical acumen and communication, and the ability to translate business processes or concepts into system requirements
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and to share ideas and knowledge openly
  • Understanding of Computer Systems Validation concepts and change control procedures
  • Knowledge of both configuration and customization standards
  • Ability to read and interpret process flow documentation, and translate this into configuration and customization requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects
  • Demonstrated ability to support problem ticket resolution by working with end users/subject matter experts
  • Must be able to gather requirements, present solutions, and participate in the selection of the solutions which best meet business requirements
  • Strong reporting skills and a solid understanding of reporting concepts, architecture, and technology, (PowerBI, SQL Server)
  • Ability to design, develop, test and maintain reports and dashboards that meet the needs of various stakeholders and support data-driven decision making
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other analysts, developers and data engineers to ensure data quality, integrity and consistency

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in a regulated environment (pharma, med device, etc).
  • Ability to test programming and interfaces
  • Ability to debug programs

Business and Reporting Analysts work with Business subject matter experts to gather and document process flows, requirements, business value drivers, and to develop estimates for assigned projects. They also develop targeted solutions which meet business requirements and present those solutions to the business users, to facilitate decisions around selecting the best solutions from configuration, customization, and process change functions. Business and Reporting Analysts will need to coordinate with other IT staff, including programmers, Basis engineers, infrastructure personnel, and project managers. They prepare and maintain change control and validation documentation regularly. Lastly, they will review, debug, test, and deploy customizations, interfaces, or enhancements to support assigned modules and projects.
