Position Summary
Thales is looking for a Responsible Operational Safety who will ensure that all computer equipment used in repair or production processes meet essential cyber safety standards. As an expert in computing, the RSO tackles all facets of cyber safety and maintains operational conditions for connected test computers. As the overseeing authority for the entire Orlando Repair Station, the RSO serves as the go-to point of contact in case of any cyber security situations and liaises with the Central Cyber Security Management. They bridge communication between Operational Management and the Central Information Systems department. Among their duties, the RSO shoulders the responsibility to develop and conduct training on appropriate cyber security practices for operators. They may also be required to contribute to bench maintenance tasks, particularly when these are related to connections to the "Industrial Network" (RIN).
In this position, The RSO plays a pivotal role in administering the Test Computers at the Orlando Repair Station, the deployment of the RIN, and serving as the primary contact for all cyber-related correspondence concerning the RIN and any computers linked to it. Their duties also include aligning with the production/repair team to schedule maintenance interventions and restricting the disruption to routine repair activities. This coordination extends to test development teams to ensure that new advancements are in line with the cyber rules of the Orlando site.
