Role


As a Sr Systems Analyst, Data Quality you’ll join our Data & Digital team helping us lead, design, and build our digital transformation and define what’s next for our business—while working in an organization that’s continuously investing in data and systems.


The Sr Systems Analyst, Data Quality will work across Crown Castle to develop processes that enhance the quality and integrity of data which informs organizational decision-making.  You will examine complex data to optimize the efficiency and quality of the data being collected, resolve data quality problems, and collaborate with stakeholders and technology professionals to help drive Crown Castle’s data-driven transformation.  


Responsibilities 



  • Drive a collaborative approach to measure, monitor, and enable understanding of data quality best practices across the enterprise

  • Engage with the other Data Management capability leads (Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Master Data Management) to ensure data quality assets align

  • Ownership of Business Rules Management and DQ development

  • Support the data stewards in profiling of source data to determine data characteristics related to the Critical Data Elements (CDE)

  • Design, build, and execute data quality mappings that will cleanse, de-duplicate and standardize data in Informatica IDQ

  • Document how the procedures work at the functional level

  • Implement/ monitor/ support routine data quality processes to ensure continuous data quality standards

  • Triage the data quality findings for systems related causes as well as content/contextual causes working with the technical partners and the respective Data Stewards in the business

  • Implement Data Quality best practices (SOPs - standard operating procedures), and train business partners in those best practices

  • Support the technical aspects of the data quality platform from the perspective of planning, implementing, and testing bug fixes, setting up new features, onboarding new data stewards, and upgrades

  •  Meets project deadlines by providing accurate estimates of effort required for committed deliverables


Education/Certifications   



  • BS Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline


Experience/Minimum Requirements  



  •  5+ year of experience defining and implementing data quality programs

  •  Experience developing profiles, rules, scorecards, and mappings

  •  Experience analyzing SQL queries in support of data quality and ETL routines

  •  Experience with Informatica Data Quality standards, guidelines, and best practices.

  •  Experience with BI Tools such as MS PowerBI in support of data quality dashboards

  •  Experience delivering results within data quality and data management practices

  •  High degree of initiative and capacity to lead multiple priorities of significant scope in a fast-paced environment

  • Skillful in communicating with and influencing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including executive leadership, employees, potential/existing customers, competitors, and business partners


Working Conditions: This is a remote role with the expectation of on-site collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter. Travel up to 20% may be required.


For New York, Colorado, California and Washington residents - The hiring range offered for this position is $100,000 - $130,000 annually. In addition to salary, employees are eligible for an annual bonus of up to 15% of annual salary and restricted stock. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
