Global Analytics Digital Underwriting team is looking for a Data Solutions analyst this summer. Ideal candidate for this role is currently pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field. You have a critical eye for perceiving actionable insights from multitude of data sources ranging from structured and unstructured. You will be working alongside Data Solutions Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineers, Product Analyst etc. that specialize in implementing 3rd party data, webscraping, ML solutions for Small Commercial division to power superior underwriting risk selection, market leading agent experience and industry topping profitability.

Responsibilities

Assist with the delivery of data solutions as part of the Digital Underwriting Squad that will include and is not limited to:

• Validating Prefill dashboard and reports that show 3rd party data hit rate, fill rate etc.
• Run and develop new SQL queries to validate 3rd party KPI metrics.
• Analyze portfolio level impact of 3rd party data solutions for new products including running real-time APIs for Google, Bing etc.
• Perform online research to identify the ground truth of the key data attributes.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing for validating ETL changes to API.
