Business Finance Specialist at Schneider Electric USA, Inc in Boston, Massachusetts

Schneider Electric has a meaningful opportunity for a Business Finance Specialist preferably in Boston, MA, Nashville, TN, Dallas, TX, Raleigh, NC, or Chicago, IL but can be remote in the US to work for a company consistently rated by Fortune as one of the "Great Places to Work", by Forbes as "America's Best Employers for Diversity", and by Equileap as the "World's Top 10 in Gender Equality". Roles & Responsibilities


  • Prepares financial reports and the assigned requirements related to accounting month ends, budgets, and forecasts

  • Conduct monthly P&L review process by recapping actual results versus plan and forecast, preparing monthly variance reports for business owners

  • Perform Order, Sales and Gross Margin analysis using Analysis of Change model (Volume, Price, Mix, FX and GSC contribution)

  • Preparation of the Quarterly Rolling Forecast process including Calendar, P&L consolidation, Analysis of Change, Review Meetings and Submission in the tools

  • Responsible for the Latest Thinking process of the P&L

  • Partner with functional leaders and provide ongoing support to develop headcount and expense forecast

  • Interactions - Strength in building productive working relationships internally and externally

  • Develop ad-hoc reports and analysis for cross-functional groups and management team, as requested

  • Participate in NAM Finance transformation projects by identifying opportunities to develop and implement continuous improvement processes that drive efficiency of the team and wider organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

  • At least 3+ years of related financial experience

Skills & Abilities


  • Strong Financial / Analytical skills with proven business acumen.

  • Business Partnering skills, including strategic mindset, collaborating in a matrix environment, ability to influence and convince

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills including handling multiple demands and assignments and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently

  • Self-starter comfortable working independently and with limited direction

  • Process improvement and problem-solver mentality

Preferences


  • Advanced PC skills (emphasis on MS Excel, SAP)

  • At least 3+ years of FP&A experience

  • MBA
