Job Description:

Automotive Engineer- Product Design: Active Work within Product Engineering Team to design and develop Commercial Vehicle components and assemblies. Design and develop mechanical hardware including innovation, concept, design and production release activities for new customer applications. Create mechanical solutions for customer applications, ADAS system requirements, and sub system functions. Manage the creation and collaboration of 3D CAD models and engineering drawings to describe the product to manufacturing, quality, and purchasing. Perform Engineering calculations as required to ensure a robust product design. Develop, revise, and maintain Design Failure Mode Effects and Analysis (DFMEA) including the selection of Classification of Characteristics. Design tools & Fixtures for testing and different assembly operations. Develop test specifications, product validation plans, enter test requests, coordinate completion of testing, write engineering reports and communicate results to the organization. Work with global stake holders and teams to understand issues and implement suggestions/improvements in design. Requirements: Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering with 6 months experience. 40 hr/wk, $84,302/yr.
