Arthrex is actively seeking a SAP COE Manager Logistics, Loaners, Repairs, Workshop & Exhibits works directly with the Logistics, Loaners, Repairs, Workshop & Exhibits Business Leaders in the Logistics & IT departments within Arthrex to manage a team of SAP COE business system analysts to deliver timely and quality solutions based on SAP applications. The role will manage the expectations of Arthrex business leaders and effectively balancing the priorities and capacity of the COE team. Management and support of Arthrex SAP Logistics, Loaners, Repairs, Workshop and Exhibits applications stack, mainly but not limited to ECC. A Bachelor's Degree and Excellent communications and analytical skills, strong technical project management skills will be essential for this position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Defining and monitoring the workflow of team members, assigning projects and/or tasks in the
SAP Logistics, Loaners, Repairs, Workshop and Exhibits areas
Setting goals for team members and ensure alignment with the organization's plans and vision
Assessing the work performance of team members and identifying areas that need
improvement
Identify team members training needs and create development plan
Foster effective communication and collaboration between team members and as well as other
teams
Help resolve competing priorities by facilitating stakeholder discussions and escalate issues
where appropriate
Works as a project manager for smaller projects in the SAP Logistics, Loaners, Repairs,
Workshop and Exhibits area and makes sure deadlines are met while also actively contributing
to projects and initiatives (as either stream lead or team member)
Proactively consults, communicates, and collaborate with business stakeholders as well as the
global functional leads regarding new solutions, process optimizations and best practices
Responsible for 2nd/3rd level support for SAP Logistics, Loaners, Repairs, Workshop and
Exhibits topics and maintains a high performance on the SLAs Participate in developing
roadmap of projects and initiatives for enablement of new capabilities
Evaluate technical options, limitations, costs, and risks
Participate in Application Analysis, Configuration, Development, Testing, Management, and
Maintenance in an Enterprise environment,
Contribute to developing and enforcing COE standards and procedures
Assist in preparation of budgets
Provide oversight of tasks performed by application contract service vendors.
Participate in defining, measuring SLAs and ensuring adherence
Enforce compliance to IT standards and policies
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field required
MBA Preferred
10 + years of relevant work experience required
5+ years direct management/supervisory experience required
Experience in analyzing business, functional, and technical requirements/specifications
required
Knowledge of system design, development, implementation, and user support principles and
practices required
Experience in managing/supervising people including hiring, firing, performance evaluation,
reprimanding, coaching, and mentoring preferred
Direct management/supervision experience preferred
Previous position in Medical Device or Life Sciences industry is a plus
Experience working in a projects where multiple functions work in a matrix structure a plus
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
In-depth knowledge of several business functions and related software applications.
In-depth knowledge of Program Management Office functions and practices. PMP certification preferred.
Experience with process improvement techniques and tools. Lean or Six Sigma preferred
Understanding of the major functions in a global organization
Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills
Ability to work comfortably at all levels within the organization up to the senior management level
Ability to manage conflict
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
PC servers, workstations and laptops. Microsoft environment. Work with standard current computer applications, including but not limited to collaboration tools, email, word processing, spreadsheets and databases .
