Job Description:
to wrk 7:30-11:30 AM and 2:30-7 PM Mon-Fri, & 8AM-6PM Sat = 52.5 hrs per wk [excludes daily 1 hr unpaid lunch break], to: manage care of primary age child w/rare genetic disorder; give meds as prscrbd; acmpany chld to wkly physcl, occuptnl & spech therapies & replicte & reinforce skills in home; carry 45lb. child wthn & outside home for care neded; & v) plan & prep meals as per dietry restrictns. REQUIRED: 1 yr exp managing day-to-day tsks for care of child w/severely limtd comunctn, motor & cogntve abilty, incldng: administer healthcre-rltd care; ensuring meds are tkn as prscrbd; acompanyng to Dr/thrpy ofcs & replicting /reinfrcng thrpy skils at home; caryng a child (at least 50lbs); assist w/bathng, feedng, toiletng, dresng and dentl hygn; & oversee nutrition prep & intake.
