Maintenance Technician
POSITION SUMMARY:
The maintenance technician position conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance services. What You Will Do
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment.
Performs building maintenance as necessary including, but not limited to, painting, repair of door and walls, installation of office equipment, and other related facility functions.
Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production equipment.
Read and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to preform required maintenance and service.
Repair and maintenance of HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems
Order building material and parts for equipment
Perform preventative maintenance program for all facilities and equipment.
Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
Who You Are
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical training: exposure to high-speed equipment
2+ years of related experience in packaging/production machines
Strong organizational and mechanical skills
Detail oriented with ability to multi-task
Excellent communication skills
