Video Producer and Visual Storyteller

Work Location - Hybrid: Position is in our corporate headquarters, which is currently in Greenfield, IN. Elanco Animal Health will be moving to a new headquarters in downtown Indianapolis in Q1 2025.

Job Description

This position is located within Elanco’s Corporate Communications function, reporting to a Senior Director, and focuses on promoting and protecting Elanco’s corporate reputation, business and employee engagement around the globe through internal and external communications, digital/social media, shared value/cause, and marketing materials.

The video producer’s primary role is the creation of high-quality multimedia content for internal and external audiences. The producer will be responsible for the project lifecycle from inception to delivery of the final product, including identifying story opportunities and supporting the pet health product team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Conceptualize and develop multimedia (videos/podcasts/graphics) content to bring the mission and vision of Elanco Pet Health to life through video-based storytelling, including identifying high-impact stories, and working independently to bring them to life.




• Designing and producing internal videos, external promotional social media videos, and other enterprise-wide projects.




• Exercise creative judgement on content, look and feel of multimedia communications.




• Arrange for production needs including logistics (equipment, location, support) for video/photo shoots and town halls.




• Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media.




• Coach and support executives and talent with camera presence and storytelling




• Photograph special events, head shots and other assignments as needed.




• Manage video/photography archive




• Operate audio, lighting, projection, video, cameras for live events.

Basic Qualifications:

• Post-high school education or training in video production, bachelor’s degree preferred.




• 6-8  years experience with shooting and editing professional video.




• Ability to shoot and edit for video and still photography is required.
