Our Distribution Center Material Handler/Back Up Driver will be responsible for:
Loading, unloading, wrapping skids, stocking shelves, and moving materials as needed throughout the Distribution Center. Direction is provided via written, verbal requests or by an established schedule. Must be able to lift, move and push 50 - 100 lbs on a regular basis.Assist with the packing of hats, labeling boxes, picking orders from inventory, tracking orders in our database, stocking shelves, processing returns, re-packaging of items, and moving inventory between distribution centers.Able to operate and is competent in safe use practices of common material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, lifting slings, hooks.Maintain log of inbound small package and truck deliveries as requested. Deliver and record end destination and or recipients of same materialsPickup and distribute as needed (mainly as backup) mail to destination pointsServe as our driver (back-up) to pick up deliveries or off-site materials
Seeking candidates with the following skills/abilities:
Prior material handling experience required Current valid OSHA forklift operation certificate or able to obtain one within first 10 working daysStrong attention to detail, precise and accountable for actionsPositive demeanor with ability to professionally interact with co-workers, leads, managers, guests and outside vendorsHigh physical stamina. Ability to be on feet and move throughout the Distribution Centers quickly. Fast-pace is a must!Strong work ethic and drive, requiring a minimum of supervision to remain productiveAbility to safely drive and operate our box truckAbility to lift 50 up to 100 pounds (with assistance)Must have a valid and current drivers license
