Responsibilities:

Are you a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager seeking an exciting opportunity? Join the MTSI team and be at the forefront of driving innovation and efficiency, supporting our mission partner AFWERX AFVentures (https://afwerx.com/divisions/afventures/overview/).

In this role, you will take on a pivotal position within our Strategic/Tactical Financing (STRATFI/TACFI) Branch, where you'll be responsible for overseeing integrated budget, schedule, and risk development and management across multiple sections. Your extensive program management expertise and your knack for fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams will be instrumental in driving our success.

Roles/Responsibilities

1. Task Tracking, Management, and Communications:
• Monitor and manage tasks across the branch to develop and maintain program timelines and goals
• Salesforce support to include case management, tracking, and integration into current processes.
• Collaborate with communication specialists to develop content/messaging and assist in planning & execution of communications campaigns.

2. Integrated Budget Management:
• Collaborate with section leaders to develop and manage integrated program budgets.
• Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure alignment of budgets with strategic goals and objectives.

3. Schedule Development and Management:
• Work closely with section leaders to create and maintain program schedules.
• Identify critical path activities and potential schedule risks.
• Implement schedule changes and adjustments as needed to meet program goals.

4. Risk Identification and Mitigation:
• Assist in the identification and assessment of program risks and opportunities.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
• Coordinate risk management activities across sections to minimize program disruptions.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among sections to ensure alignment with program objectives.
• Act as a liaison between different sections, facilitating the sharing of information and resources.
• Support the integration of various program components to achieve program success.

6. Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare regular reports on program status, budget performance, and schedule adherence.
• Maintain accurate documentation of program activities and decisions.
• Present findings and updates to leadership as needed.

Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship Requirement: All applicants must be U.S. citizens to meet security clearance criteria.

Security Clearance: While a Secret Clearance is preferred, individuals without security clearance will still be considered.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management).

5-10 years of experience in program management or related roles.

Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes and procedures desired.

Strong understanding of budget management, scheduling, and risk analysis.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Experience with Salesforce (preferred but not required).
