The Power Consulting National Lead works under the direction of the Power and Energy Consultant Leader within the Services Consulting group. The overall purpose of this team is to provide thought leadership for the power system engineering and consulting organization, enhance our value to the customer by inter departmental collaboration, and partnering with strategic sales and service execution managers to support specific accounts and segments. This is a technical support role that draws on your experience in project execution, engineering insight as well as commercial and business acumen.

Responsibilities may include:


  • Accountable for strategic account support, contract and overall strategy.

  • Work with regional teams to staff projects, provide training.

  • Work with technical project managers on support contracts, quotations and sales support.

  • Sales enablement. Work with strategic account sales executives and business leaders.

  • Collaborate with workstream leaders and offer managers on pricing strategy and go to market strategy for new offers and offer launches.

  • Estimated Travel 30%

  • PLC and relay knowledge.

  • Proposal and tendering experience.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to collaborate with others to free up energy.

  • Proactive, independent and self-motivated. Comfortable with ambiguity and self reliance.

  • Excited about finding opportunities, creating relationships and growing the business.

  • Enjoy teaching, coaching, supporting and presenting on technical topics.

  • Able to travel nationally as needed.


Qualifications:

  • BS in engineering from ABET accredited institution.

  • 10+years of experience

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

  • Experience working with sales teams and customer accounts. Customer facing, customer satisfaction, customer feedback.

  • Experience with orders growth and management.

  • Experience in both business development and sales.
