Our Clinical Guidelines Team is looking for a Summer Intern interested in learning how clinical guidelines within a content management system (CMS) can standardize consistent, clear patient recommendations for healthcare professionals. Working on the ACR guidance documents digitization project, the intern will review documents, incorporate the information into our proprietary CMS, and use quality control methods to assess any issues. There will be the opportunities to learn how to review and extract key information from the published articles and to participate in one or more data analysis / data visualization projects.

Responsibilities:


  • Support the Guidance team in the development of digital clinical practice guidelines

  • Convert standard documents into the content management system

  • Using ACR's methodology and process, analyze the quality of peer-reviewed articles in medical literature

  • Support data analysis and data visualization

Who you are:


  • Current college/university student

    • Enrolled full-time and carrying a 3.0+ GPA



  • Detail-oriented, reliable, analytical and mature

  • Eager to learn, team-player, and enthusiastic about healthcare

  • Familiarity with medical terminology preferred

What to Expect


  • We will be conducting interviews beginning in March

  • Our intention is to extend an offer for this opportunity by mid-April

  • Interns will join the team on May 20th and conclude their experience on August 9th

Work Location: This position will be Remote.  Candidates must be willing to work Eastern Standard Time zone hours so as to maintain a routine schedule (8:30A - 5:00P) with the team. Qualified candidates must have reliable internet service, professional discipline and have excellent time management skills.

ACR is committed to a total rewards compensation philosophy.  ACR’s goal is to pay competitively and equitably.  Interns work a 37.5 hour work week, from 5/20/24 - 8/9/24.  Depending on class level, a reasonable estimate of the hourly compensation range for this position is $18.00 – $22.00.
