Job Summary:

Creative Plannings Managing Director-Wealth Managements primaryobjective is to win at least the firm-wide average market share in assigned branches. In addition, the Managing Directors primary responsibilities are to coach their team to perform the following functions, as well as doing so for their own clients:
Obtain referral from clientsAggregate client assetsEnsure client utilizes Creative Plannings other services (law, tax, etc.) that are appropriate for the client
The Managing Directors primary role is to win the branches in their region, assigning the vast majority of new clients to wealth managers on their team. The Managing Director oversees wealth managers in their area and serves as a mentor, leader and coach. This individual maintains a set of wealth management clients so they are better able to coach wealth managers.

Job Duties:

Win market share of their branches that exceeds the firm-wide averageClose a percentage of leads that exceeds firm-wide averageReceive referrals from existing clients, exceeding that of the firm-wide averageAggregate assets from existing clients, exceeding that of the firm-wide averageRetain clients, exceeding firm-wide averageRetain team members, exceeding firm-wide averageAll other duties as assigned

Required Experience/ Qualifications:

Series 65 (or equivalent)Bachelors degree, preferably in a related field such as finance, business or marketing10 years management experience in the financial services industryMinimum 5 years sales experience in the financial services industryDocumented proven track record of sales and management successGraduate degree or advanced management trainingAbility to travel as needed

PreferredExperience/ Qualifications:

CFP CertificateMinimum 2 years sales experience as a Registered Investment AdvisorExperience with a multi-advisor institutional brokerage distribution channelProven track record of turning around local markets or regionsExperience with managing at least 25 sales professionals and remote employees

TechnicalSkills:

MS Office /Windows experience preferredUnderstanding of mobile operating systems such as Android or IOSAbility to adapt and integrate new technology quickly
