What we need:

  • Performs duties with latitude for independent decision-making and judgment within the framework of the job's scope and assigned duties. Assists department management or project committees with the development and formulation of strategic long range and short-range plans aimed at building department performance, directions for process improvement and resource management. Assist with plans, designs and documentation for departmental or divisional performance measurement systems; leads or facilitates team-based improvement projects. Performs senior level administrative duties, financial and statistical reporting, data base maintenance and communications.



What you'll do:

  • Assists department management or project committees with the development and formulation of strategic long range and short-range plans aimed at building department performance, directions for process improvement and resource management. Assist with plans, designs and documentation for departmental performance measurement systems; leads or facilitates team-based improvement projects.
  • Researches, plans, organizes, and conducts needs analysis to determine department resource needs, provides requirements analysis and other relevant information for planning activities. Provides primary and secondary data for organization structure analysis, work process analysis, process mapping and project development; makes recommendation for new and revised business policies, procedures and practices incorporating total quality methodologies and concepts. Conducts random and/or routine system information audits to ensure database has highest degree of accuracy. Works directly with the Information Technology or participates as a project team member on SAP/CREST system implementation, upgrades, modification, master files maintenance, etc. Acts as functional user key point of contact providing user functionality information to less experience users.
  • Supervises and coordinates administrative and logistical details associated with the day-to-day operations of the business unit, assisting with confidential matters and performing research for special projects as assigned. Acts as a liaison between the departments and/or divisions, coordinating relevant functions that require access to confidential information, which includes, but is not limited to, preparing personnel action requests, maintaining and verifying records such as pay rates and time sheets, leave requests, benefits and payroll information. Liaison for other departments including marketing, technical support, R&D, manufacturing and Sustainability. Develops a connection with internal and external clients that cultivates trust and mutual respect.
  • Develops, writes, and edits material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, project plans and scope documents, instruction books, catalogs, related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures, installation, operation, and maintenance. Reviews published materials and recommends revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods of reproduction and binding. Serves as a content manager for the department's Technical Library, Quality Manual, Work Instructions and Compliance Calendar; periodically reviews and updates the appropriate documentation, including relevant information, audit schedules, department biographical information, etc.; attends Internet meetings; handles Internet-related calls and requests related to department communications.
  • Assists in the preparation and submittals of Regulatory Reports
    • SARA 312 for 39 states
    • TRI Reports for 8 states
    • Waste Water Reports
    • Regulated Wastes - Hazardous and non-Hazardous
    • Annual Stormwater Inspection Reports
  • Tracks Compliance Requirements
    • Control Device Inspections
    • Chemical usages
    • Visible emissions inspections
    • Deliveries containing regulated content (VOC, HAP, Low Sulfur, etc)
    • Completion and logging of Regulatory required Site Self Inspections
    • Federal Product Specifications: FHA, CPSC, HUD, GSA and FAA programs
    • Home Depot, Lowes, and other customer specific programs
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.



What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration or a related field and three or more years of progressively responsible job specific work experience or six years of progressively more responsible job specific experience combined with equivalent training/education to successfully perform the essential function of the job.
  • A minimum of two years projects coordination/facilitation skills in a multi-functional environment.
    • Advance proficiency level in the following areas:
      • Business Writing concepts and techniques PowerPoint: Intermediate
      • Microsoft Excel Lotus or Microsoft Office
      • Exceptional Customer Services Microsoft Word
      • Other department database systems
      • Intermediate level understanding of accounting and reporting principles and practices
  • Analytical /Technical skills require to collect and prepare financial, statistical, productivity data, etc.
  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, principle and practices as it relates to the Department's functional areas and operations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR policies, practices and procedures as it relates to employee relations, hiring, termination, benefit and compensation plans and administrative guidelines.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis data, statistical quality control and experimental design and ability to convey these to all levels of employees paired with the ability to prepare statistical studies and trend analysis using internal and external information to demonstrate relevant changes or improvement.
  • Progressively responsible experience in planning, budgeting and financial management analysis and reporting.

  • Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication and team facilitation skill to effectively interact with senior management,
