Sr. Graphic Design Specialist - Philanthropy at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas

Job Description:

As a Sr. Graphic Design Specialist, you will join our in-house creative team, responsible for crafting visually compelling print materials that align with Texas Children's Hospital brand identity and the Office of Philanthropy objectives. You will conceptualize, design, and produce various print assets, including but not limited to logo identity, brochures, booklets, posters, proposal packaging, promotional collateral and environmental graphic for events.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal design, digital (web), and creative writing team to understand project requirements and objectives.


  • Develop and implement creative concepts, layouts, and designs that adhere to brand guidelines and project specifications.
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly PowerPoint) to create visually impactful designs and presentations.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
  • Work closely with project stakeholders and other external vendors to specify design and production intent, ensuring final output meets quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve design skills.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing print design work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint).
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and print production processes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in an office or remote environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design aesthetics and hand crafts.
  • Adobe Premier and/or Adobe After Effect knowledge is a plus.
