Overview: 

The Sr. Director, North America Field and Channel Marketing, leads the marketing strategy and execution for the North America region. This is a highly strategic and central role, responsible for developing comprehensive marketing programs to support F5’s sales teams and channel partners across North America. This role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across F5 to drive revenue growth and market expansion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B technology marketing, with experience developing and leading highly effective field marketing strategies and teams. 

 

Responsibilities: 


  • Team leadership: lead a high-performing, cross-functional team of field marketers, channel marketers and program strategists, providing coaching, guidance, and support to drive individual and team success.  


  • Strategic Planning: Bring a consultative approach to partnering with senior sales leadership in North America to understand the business goals of NA Sales, as well as the overall go-to-market priorities of F5, and develop and execute marketing plans to meet those objectives.  


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business goals and objectives. Serve as a senior leader and strategic voice within the Marketing Extended Leadership team, and collaborate with peer Field Marketing leaders in EMEA, LATAM and APCJ. 


  • Field Marketing: Lead the planning and execution of marketing programs, including hosted and sponsored events and targeted 1:1 and 1:few campaigns, to support sales goals, drive pipeline growth, and accelerate deal cycles. 


  • Partner Marketing: Lead the overall Partner marketing strategy and execution in NA to support to-Partner communication and enablement, and Partner co-marketing efforts to engage our joint customers. Drive strategic alignment between F5 business priorities and Partner goals and marketing resources/capabilities. 


  • Content, Communication and Programs: Oversee the development of North America marketing collateral, sales communications, and programs to support sales teams and channel partners and achieve scale, ensuring alignment with F5 messaging and branding guidelines. 


  • Budget management: Manage marketing budgets across the North America team, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to drive maximum ROI and achieve business objectives. 


  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: drive continuous analysis of performance data and derive actionable insights for campaigns and field programs. Serve as the accountable leader for tracking, reporting, and optimizing marketing performance and contribution in the North America region. 


 

Qualifications: 


  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications or other related field, or relevant experience. 


  • 12-15+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on field and channel marketing in technology organizations.  


  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion. 


  • This is a senior management position that requires the ability to analyze data, develop strategies to achieve desired metrics, build compelling business cases for investment, and present results at executive levels.  


  • Strong leadership skills with experience leading and mentoring cross-functional teams.  


  • Successful track record leading teams of 12-15+ members, including people managers and individual contributors.  


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is: $220,180.00 - $330,270.00

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
