As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will serve as the knowledge source and provide comprehensive financial analysis support to ITS business lines. By leveraging financial metrics and developing integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations, you will support ITS partners in carrying out their strategic business direction. Your consultative approach when communicating and collaborating with business leaders, and deep budgeting expertise, will be invaluable in this role.

Responsibilities: 


  • Generates standard reporting deliverables; leads forecasting efforts and analysis and responsible for development and presentation of complex variance analysis and financials.

  • Independently leads the development of budgets, forecasts, position papers, cost benefit modeling, analysis summaries and other documents; uses such materials to acquire senior management approval or recommend a course of action for financial matters.

  • Serves as the knowledge source for one or more financial focus areas with a shown understanding of FRB accounting, expense and capital budgeting, CASPR expense accounting rules, contracts, and agreements

  • Performs technical analysis to understand present and future financial performance; may serve in a back-up capacity to the ITS Budget Coordinator 

  • Provides analysis on business development and may monitor business performance by team, business line or group

  • Supports the long-range planning for the group and assists in the development of action plans and financial forecasting tools to meet short and long-range financial plans. Follow-up activities include initiating and running financial systems that will improve efficiency and cost effectiveness of the national operations

  • Participates in District / System work groups related to financial plans and goals

  • Captures, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts

  • Identifies areas of improvement relating to reporting deliverables, financial processes, and information storage

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related field or equivalent work experience

  • Typically requires 5 or more years of related experience of related experience in financial analysis

  • Advanced proficiency of Excel, MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Proficient in visualization software e.g., Tableau

  • Experience with Workday tooling and reporting preferred

  • Experience in financial analysis development and reporting

  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, modeling, and development

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and customer service skills

  • Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Green Card holder with the intent to become a U.S. Citizen.

Base Salary Range: Min: $97,600 - Mid: $126,800 - Max: $155,900 (Location: San Francisco)
Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
