Position Summary:

The Marketing Intern for the Gibraltar Building Accessories Division will assist the marketing team in developing and executing strategies to enhance brand visibility, maintain brand standards, and drive retail sales. The intern will contribute to creating targeted marketing campaigns for retail customers, participate in the development of CRM campaigns and communication strategies, analyze market trends, and implement branding initiatives to support the company's retail objectives. As a valued member of the Marketing team, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, collaborate with various departments, and receive mentorship from experienced marketing professionals and colleagues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage a capstone project independently, reporting findings, recommendations, and action plans to stakeholders.
• Develop a marketing strategy for post-event engagement with retail team members.
• Contribute to the development of a MARCOM calendar for sustained communication.
• Contribute to the development of a playbook for in-store activations at retail stores, including identifying target stores.
• Assume ownership of tasks impacting brand standards across all company brands.
• Research and evaluate potential vendors and agency partners, providing recommendations based on company needs.
• Ensure project tasks are completed within specified timelines and with necessary support/resources.
• Communicate changes to project scope, timelines, deliverables, or support/resources to stakeholders and propose acceptable alternate paths forward.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders and vendors, leveraging relationships for subject matter expertise.
• Present project deliverables, key learnings, and next steps to stakeholders, utilizing data for validation and proposing plans for next steps.
• Other duties as assigned.

Ideal Experience:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent background experience).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exposure to Marketing strategy development
• Basic understanding of content creation for digital and traditional marketing channels
• Event planning and execution
• Performance monitoring and reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects
