Job Description:

Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for an Upstream Planning Intern in the Nashville, TN Hub for the Summer starting in May of 2024. This position is on-site so the ideal candidate will be located in the general area. This will be a full-time position. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

As an Upstream Planning Intern, you will have the following responsibilities:


  • Managing process improvement projects working with cross functional teams for successful completion

  • Responsible for standardization of the planning process with key supply limiters for a selected scope of critical suppliers and categories in North America to improve vendor supply reliability.

  • Tracking critical KPI's, such as Forecast Accuracy, Supplier Performance, and Unconfirmed PO, for long term review of strategic partners across the Upstream Planning channel

  • Identify, report and hold parties accounts for corrective action for data discrepancies within data lake, ERPs and other platforms used within Schneider.

  • Takes proactive actions to avoid end customer impact.


This position may be a good fit for you if:


  • Pursuing a degree in Global Supply Chain, or Logistical Engineering

  • Enjoy complex, detailed and challenging systems working including master data impacts on end-to-end logistics flows

  • Experience with Tableau and has strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills

  • Be proactive to find opportunities for solution enhancements

  • Take Initiative to collaborate with cross functional experts to root cause issues and address solution gaps

  • Pay attention to detail, thoroughly understanding the entirety of problems and solutions

  • Strong communication skills (English), spoken and written.
