Join our team within the Integrated Flight Systems Centerof Excellence (COE) that designs, develops and integrates highly complexAvionics Flight Deck Systems within Honeywell Electronic Solutions. As a Systems Engineer, you will support the development of next generation products, working on programs to ensure the security, resilience and integrity of electronic aerospace systems, namely in Avionics and Cockpit product areas.
Key Responsibilities
You will be part of a talented team of engineers in the design, development, test and analysis of various electronics products and future design concepts, applying systems engineering logic to reduce the risk of cyber security attacks and/or cyber exploitation of electronics & Flight Deck systems
Support the design and implementation of cybersecurity solutions for avionics flight deck systems
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures and requirements into the product development lifecycle of flight systems
Support the analysis of existing systems and the application of cyber and security designs into avionics products designs and requirements
Systems level Cyber requirements development
Systems Design
Model based development system design
Systems integration
Perform Validation & Verification Activities
Collaborating with internal and external customers to determine cyber engineering/security needs for electronics products.
Perform Risk Identification; dispositioning and documenting cyber risks
Support Cyber Compliance activities and Cyber compliance testing.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Computer Science, or related Systems Engineering technical discipline

Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts.
Diverse and global teaming and collaboration
Experience in both OR either domain with interest and ability to develop in the other domain.
1) Systems Engineering/Aerospace and/or
2) Cyber Systems/Systems Security Engineering
Ability to adapt dictated by project changes
Multi-tasking and has the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to aerospace cybersecurity A PLUS.
