ABOUT THE iOS ENGINEER IN TEST ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Knot Worldwide is hiring an iOS Engineer in Test to join a highly motivated team. The right engineer will enjoy fast-paced collaboration with product, design, and software engineering teams in an Agile environment to ensure high-quality web and mobile features for our couples.

This role will focus on applications and products in the Planning and Guest Zone, in the iOS TheKnot Squad, which develops tools enabling the registration of new users, user settings, portions of the administration of our Client's Wedding Websites and Guest Management tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that features are high-quality by building test strategies, writing and executing test plans, and communicating with the team about issues, risk, and product quality.
• Leverage skills and experience to develop automated tests to ensure product quality.
• Manual test new features and bug fixes before incorporating them into automated test suites.
• Interface with teams in coordinating cross-browser and manual regression testing when needed.
• Promote best practices surrounding TDD, continuous integration, code standards, etc..

• Understands QA software methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands on experience writing automated tests for user interfaces. Experience writing automated tests for backend services.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience with Appium or other modern UI test frameworks.
• Experience automating test cases using JavaScript and/or Python.
• Experience with AWS/Kubernetes/Docker concepts and technology.
• Experience designing and developing load tests to measure application performance.
