Position Overview

This role will manage the supplier master data management process, solution (APEX Analytix supplier portal) and support structure. The ideal candidate will establish and maintain relations with internal Procurement, IT and Finance teams across the divisions and Operating Companies (OpCos) within CRH to ensure a successfully operational APEX supplier portal solution.

We are looking for someone to champion the supplier master data management solution (APEX Supplier portal) as a part of a broader procurement program. A well-rounded and experienced professional with sound business acumen, data and people driven person and decision maker. A dedicated and engaged team player who engages with a wide variety of stakeholders and can build consensus across a diverse global stakeholder pool.

This position will be based in the Atlanta, GA office.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.


  • System Ownership for the APEX supplier portal solution:

    • Supporting implementation in OpCos in conjunction with SI.

    • Global solution owner responsible for overall design - reviewing design, optimizing & release management.

    • Fully understanding integrations to P2P solution & interdependencies between APEX, ERP & Coupa.

    • Implementing strong governance & best practice processes to improve current solution and current data.



  • Works to optimize the supplier master data management process in the CRH group - understands "best-in-class" processes as well as knowing where each OpCo is today and how to incrementally improve across people, process & technology.

  • Ensures consistency and process efficiency as global process owner and co-chair in the change authority board for APEX & Coupa.

  • Manages the on-going support organization - partnering with IT teams across the divisions to ensure a streamlined and successful support organization is in place for APEX as it is implemented across different OpCos in Europe and Americas.

  • Drives and implements training activities, templates, processes etc. necessary to support the APEX solution.

  • Establishes necessary governance in place to manage the strategic direction of supplier master data mgt. processes and the APEX solution.

  • Creates, implements & monitors KPI tracking & analytics for user adoption & analytics, and SLA's.

  • Drive Vendor performance management including influencing Product Roadmap, UI/UX development etc.

Qualifications

Education/Experience


  • Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 10 years experience in supplier master data management.

  • Experience implementing and managing an application across a diverse and international group.

  • Fluent written and verbal in English is a must, other languages are considered a plus.

  • Experience in leading international implementation projects.

  • Comfortable working in a complex, decentralized environment.

  • Experience implementing and managing APEX supplier portal or similar type supplier portal across a diverse and international Group, preferred.

  • Experience with APEX supplier portal workflow and approval configuration preferred.

  • Experience with Coupa in the Procurement technology ecosystem, preferred.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Must be 18 years in age or older.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

  • Willingness to work independently within a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
