JAVA Developer with ReactJS Experience at Infosys Limited in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey

Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a JAVA Developer with ReactJS Experience. This position's primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day to day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; builds applications, interfaces between applications, understands data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contributes expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases.

This positions is based out of Berkeley Heights, NJ/ Omaha, NE. Candidate must be located within commuting distance or and be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require relocation and /or travel to project location.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.


• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.


• Experience with designing and developing the complex Java application architectures adhering to low latency, high through-put and multi-threading requirements.


• Experience with designing and developing Java web Development (RESTful APIs using JAX-RS) using JAVA, J2EE, EJB, Java Transaction, and JPA.


• Knowledge of the use of Java application containers.


• Experience with React JS, Javascript, HTML, CSS.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 6 years of experience in software development life cycle.


• At least 6 years of Strong hands-on experience with Java development.


• Strong Experience on Spring framework and Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, Git, Maven, Mockito, Basic DB Table design, DDL, OWASP is a plus.


• Strong Experience with RESTAPIs design and development and Swagger API documentation.


• Experience SQL writing for SQL Server/Oracle/DB2


• Experience with unit testing JUNIT


• Knowledge of Java build tools


• Experience using Java testing tools for finished code


• Proficiency in DevOps tools as part of SDLC


• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong analytical, troubleshooting and issue resolution skills.


• Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills


• Should be able to support production and should be available to support on call, as needed


• Expert in multiple languages and tools. Some knowledge in emerging technologies (cloud).


• Possesses strong knowledge of application development technologies, tools and methodologies.


• Good understanding of how technology relates to business, market and industry and applies such knowledge to support the needs of the business.


• Strong understanding of complex internal business processes or functions.


• Works on moderate to complex projects and issues within functional area.


• Works more independently with IT functional units and business units. Recommends strategies for improving system applications.


• Coaches and leads less experienced IT staff and business managers.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
