Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineering Technician located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, the Process Engineering Technician role supports operation on unscheduled events and working close to the Process Engineering Team on new projects, documents and daily tasks.

Shift: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm (Monday - Friday)

What a typical day looks like:

• Calibration and Preventative Maintenance on assigned equipment.


• Time study and Line balancing


• Installation and Modification of Work Stations


• Create / Modify Work Instructions


• Layout and tooling design


• Support New Product Introduction activities


• Leading Improvement Projects


• Monitoring, auditing and providing guidance to line operators.


• Processing test runs and preparing records (breakdown events, scrap, etc.), charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.


• Providing technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.


• Line change configuration.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• At least 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment (electronic components is preferred)


• Electro-Mechanical Knowledge, electrical schematics, mechanical drawing and dimensional annotation comprehension.


• Knowledge on Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)


• Knowledge of AutoCAD software.


• Able to work with and communicate cross functionally with operations, quality and other departments.


• Associates degree in electronics is highly desirable.
