The USCAA is seeking an organized, collaborative and creative professional for the position of Manager of Business Partnerships. Reporting to the Director of Business Partnerships, this position will be responsible for the following:
Manages fulfillment and execution of business partnership agreements, member benefit programs, and merchandise programs that provide value to diverse segments of the USC alumni population, while providing significant revenue to the USCAA.
Creates and administers partner and program marketing calendars. Monitors schedules, production, distribution and other details to ensure timely completion and quality control of marketing activities and inclusions in USCAA publications.
Liaises and works collaboratively with internal and external partners to accomplish partner and program marketing and benefit fulfillment goals.
Collaborates across USCAA programs to integrate partnership programs with member services, engagement and other outreach programs.
Coordinates the fulfillment and execution of event sponsorship assets as defined in partnership contracts, and assists Events and Engagement teams with fulfillment and execution of stand-alone USCAA signature event sponsors.
Coordinates appropriate use of University and/or department logos emblems and indicia as it relates to partner marketing.
Collects and analyzes data related to the performance of partnerships, member benefit programs, and merchandise programs. Generates reports and makes recommendations to aid management with decision-making. Implements program modifications as necessary in order to ensure achievement of goals and objectives.
Provides timely reporting of marketing metrics and results of individual marketing assets and event activations to partners. Prepares annual partner marketing reports.
Co-manages USCAA football game-day Membership and Benefits tent (includes serving as one of the on-site leads for home games).
Assists with industry research, lead generation and the partner activation process.
Assists with content creation for member benefit publications.
Assists with the management of department budget, including the creation of partnership invoices, generating payment requests for department expenses, and submitting deposit paperwork for partner payments.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. The University reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
At least two years of related work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Demonstrated, strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines across simultaneous projects
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Project management experience
Knowledge of marketing and business management
Knowledge of the principles, practices, concepts and methodology of marketing
Experience with CRM and email marketing platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred)
Experience with Airtable platform or similar project management platform
