Maintenance Planner at PPG INDUSTRIES INC in Cleveland, Ohio

Job Description:

As a Maintenance Planner, you will plan and schedule maintenance repair work orders and PM's for the Cleveland Site. You will utilize the Maintenance Work Process, job plan archives, equipment history, maintenance procedures and technical information to accomplish this. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and work onsite at our Cleveland, Ohio Manufacturing facility.

Main Responsibilities:
• Work with Operations and Maintenance to prioritize planning and scheduling of work orders for the Cleveland Site.
• Generate PM's into work orders and schedule/ensure timely completion.
• Create and modify PM job plans through the CMMS program.
• Perform planning that includes field checks observing the complexity of the work order, outlining proper procedures/steps, adequate tools and materials are available to execute the work.
• Prepare work order cost estimates for approval.
• Ensure job plan packages include the needed documents in printed and electronic form for Maintenance Technicians reference and use.
• Receive job plan evaluation feedback, update PM's accordingly and lead planning process improvements.
• Issue safe work permits for contractors and vendors
• Back up to maintenance supervisor role as necessary.
• Track maintenance KPI's

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of maintenance experience
• 3+ years' experience in manufacturing
